What is the Durarara chat room?
The Chat Room is an online messaging space that many Durarara characters use to talk about the events taking place in Ikebukuro. It seems to require a special invite to access it, which is why everyone in the room is connected to the story.

It’s not always clear who knows what when it comes to Durarara, and there are instances throughout the series where someone’s identity is revealed to another character.
Izaya Orihara (Kanra) is the chat room administrator. Plus, as an information broker who ends up being involved in most of the town’s stories, it’s no surprise that he uses it to find out everyone’s true identity!

Izaya’s younger twin sisters, Kururi (Kyou/Kuru) and Mairu (Mai/San), both know each other’s identities. In fact, they often swap personalities online, just to make things a bit more confusing!
